BYC Café

Morning Cafe we are running to same thing here those that just do not wear them.
Saddest part they are mostly the ones now ill with it 20 somethings.
Roof company has us baffled My old J7 samsung started not showing calls would not ring the voice mail I got after I go the new phone about a week ... Spent all day yesterday trying to resolve it :smack

Why in the world would anyone declaw a cat but not spay her?

Not as bad as some places, but a lot worse than it should be. Apparently, people between the ages of 18 and 49 make up about 40% of NC's population, but about 70% of the identified Coronavirus cases, while the 65+ age bracket only accounts for about 10% of the cases, though their percentage of the population is significantly larger than that. *sigh* Can't put an old head on young shoulders, I guess.
I read an article about that. It seems that older people continued to stay home and wear masks more than those under 60. One point in the article is that the younger infected people will be spreading the virus to their older relatives if things do not change

Many just plain refuse to wear them, citing health issues or governmental control conspiracies.
What pisses me off most about this, is if people wore the masks, washed their hands and took a bit of personal responsibility for their health and the health of those around them, there would be no need for the lockdowns.
It's the lockdowns that are causing the long term problems here. Neither the population nor the government seem willing to make adjustments to how we go about earning a living and our day to day lives.
We can and will have to live with this virus, or another. It will require a bit of imagination from those who legislate for work environments and infrastructure. This here and in the UK is the problem. The politicians don't have the intelligence to have an imagination.
All I hear is we're following the scientists advice. But, what the scientists are there for is to provide advice on the science, not how to run a country.

Ditto here good old common sense is what is lacking .. the 1918 pandemic everyone wore masks what is so flipping hard now ?
There were those that would not wear them then either. We are repeating what happened then. The second year of the 1918 pandemic was the bad one. Will we learn from history?
