Heard a 'not normal' ruckus.
Fox just sitting there watching birds, 10' from run.
Probably took a dash and bumped it's nose on the fence.

Good evening Cafe. Thanks for the coffee Mr sourland. A bit later for me so I won't partake.
Hot and sticky here today. We did get a storm with some rain which helped but now we've got 98% humidity at around 30C.

81F here, dry, sunny, high fire danger, ash all over things from the fires out west...

So far the fires in California have not been close enough to us for smoke and ash. I hope the smoke is better soon for you!

At dusk, looking down the valley there were mist plums in the trees as the vapour tried to rise. One usually only sees that in the mornings when the sun comes up after a damp night. This valley is particularly prone to trapping damp air.

Haha, I don't have to mow it, silly! but it's only 9 miles away. (very convenient)
