BYC Café

:gig Same Here!

Didn't even see the web until you mentioned it, she was busy after the storm!
It's near perfect and was covered in water droplets. She was smack in the center of it when I spotted it but ran to the perimeter when I came back with my camera.

Bella reminds me often just how smart she is.
Every other Doberman I've ever had would have ripped and torn around the fields like a maniac and then paid for it later by limping because of the sore toe. Not Bella! She very cautiously jumped out of the car and loped around instead of running full tilt. She was very sedate but thoroughly enjoyed her excursion yesterday and this morning. I'm keeping an eye on the toe for infection and see no signs. She seems to be managing herself extremely well.
If you can get your hands on some please give your Bella some PET CBD treats or drops. It's anti-inflammatory, antiviral and analgesic it will relieve any pain and accelerate healing, naturally and miracle-like.

Good morning Cafe.
Thanks for the coffee Shad.
Great news about the dentist appointment - not so great about the cost. You make a good point: I don't understand why dental care here isn't free at the point of delivery like all other types of healthcare. It may still be subsidised for those of us who pay for it, but why don't taxes cover it all?

I have found someone with Manx Rumpies...perhaps next time one of mine goes broody we can get some of their eggs to hatch :fl
I don't know either Perris, but then I don't understand a lot of stuff.
I suspect it's to do with profit and the divisive private medical care system some countries are stupidly adopting from the US.

Is this a regular occurrence?
Who are these people?

Hot and sweaty at 6am.....GAHgrumblemumblebitchandmoan.
Pulled 2 cockerels out of coop last night, after watching them double tag a hen yesterday.
Been even more chaotic the last couple days, enough is enough.
They'd be in the freezer by now if I was still diligent about slaughtering.
Will take one down to the mill today, see if he can move it along.
Maybe take one to the farmer market tomorrow.
Might just ring their necks and toss them in the woods for the fox.
Not regular aart, but not unknown.
It's an interesting thing about some types of mental health problems. Rural life and money helps hide a lot of things that would be more obvious in an urban environment. What might be considered unstable in a town, becomes eccentric in the countryside.

Good morning, Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Shad. Good luck dealing with the midnight moron.
Can you imagine if you hadn't caught them and they'd left a coop or two open and something got to some of the birds? I'd be livid.

We had a pretty good thunderstorm rumble through yesterday then more rain overnight. But it knocked the heat down so it's comfortable so far this morning.
Lovely picture DL.:love
They've left coops open before.:(

I can't see much wrong with that. Don't tell me, it's an infringement on people civil liberties to pollute at will.:p:oops::lau
Most of my electric is now renewable. I am using an provider called Valley clean electric. PG and E is still delivers the electricity though.
