I have a small dead tree to remove and some pruning on a tree out front.

These were all alive before the 80mph straight line winds hit.
Biggest was an uprooted 80' poplar that would have hit my house full on if not for the luck of the fates.

I sold 7 chickens and 5 chicks today. Making room for the Jubilee Orpingtons, and Calico cochins. All spotted up, just like my goats!

Hey everyone, mind if I join in? My husband and I live in Tennessee, close to the mountains. We just started with chickens this year when everything went sideways in March. Our chickens have just started laying and we are having a blast trying to keep up with them. We have six Barred Rocks. They are so much fun.

That is a very high wind!

This wind snapped 80 foot trees in half....all over my area.
Several cars were crushed and some major house damage.
I was lucky these missed my house.

Hmmmm......toxic is what it smells like to me.

I'll post a picture of one of the rooms and you can scratch-n-sniff your monitor and let me know what you think. It doesn't smell bad to me.

You just never know with them.
Space saver to install an over-the-range microwave. Mom's house is small and the kitchen is a galley style.

I started out small with 10 birds. I'm somewhere north of 30 but have some boys to rehome. Letting the broody hens do their thing is too hard for me to resist. Lots of interesting stuff happened with the three batches that hatched here... fun, fun!

Table is fine...tree didn't actually touch it...it's still sitting there, sinking into the ground like it has been for years.

Maybe it's lower VOC nowadays....or you're just noseblind with all the painting.
I'm real sensitive to those odors.

No way! As soon as I walked in the back door when I got home I knew Fuji had peed on the towel in front of the sliding door. DH didn't smell a thing. I got a good sniffer.
