Privet, briars, vines, brush.... Yup, there it was!

This isn't cut in stone, but the woman just wears me down. What the 'H' two old farts need with a new dog is beyond me, but the house is sort of empty.

My dogs make me smile every day and they keep you active!

Ya know the more you clear the more there is to mow, right? I cleared the front and side hedgerows 3 years ago, and am still getting rid of stumps.

Stumps are the bane of my existence! I trip over at least one stump a day. I need to get hubby on that. If I dig around them, he will cut them off.

Well, ya don't have to mow that often.
'Country Yards' here, no golf course lookalikes.
I let the yards get pretty tall before mowing,
fields only get mowed once or twice a year to keep the saplings down..

Yup, those staubs from smaller brush and stuff can be just as tricky, especially when walking backwards. Peeps here thought I had balance issues.. nope, just don't have eyes in the back of my head.

The soccer ball is in the back yard, when it's almost outta sight is when I mow the back yard. Weeds and stuff where I cleared last year need to be knocked down more often so grass can take hold.

I posted this on the pond so forgive the double post. We lost one of our Pugs yesterday. Sweet Mr. Roo. I’m glad he’s not suffering anymore, but it sucks to have to make that call & say goodbye. He was 12, but life goes by so fast. It seems like you barely get them home & they’re gone again. Sad days!
