And here's my loverly little gate that's attached to the divider in the large run. Not that professional, but my chickens don't judge me too harshly.

I took the old tin siding off this dog house, I'll be working on it next.

And the 'chateau le chicks' still needs the cracks between boards done.. (like I never have enough to do.)

CS, I am glad she is looking better. She seems happy in the pic.
That CO fire is raging again. Very sad. It looks nasty from my point of view.

I was sick and tired of this Eastern Wood Rat having a field day in my shed. He/she ate up both of my fishing nets, stole fancy hooks, nuts, bolts, paint stiring paddles, you name it.. I found the midden full of stuff I had been looking for, including my half eaten leather gloves.

Then my dog stole the rat along with the trap and took it off to bury somewhere.. Still haven't found the trap!

Could about put me there today also been run to frazzle since 6:30 this morning bread and rolls done took a bag of rolls to my post mistress bud she asked if I had 3 dozen she could get, gave her the 3 dozen one customer...
cleaned my main coop others are every other day

Another good thing to do with sand?
.....is fill 8 or 16 ounce sour cream containers to put your feed and water on top of.
Keeps them much cleaner.

Someone once commented on how 'lucky' I have been over the years. I replied, "Yes I have been, and the harder I work the luckier I get." There is a certain amount of luck in which stork delivers you and where you are left but yep, one should be "making their own luck" with effort and perseverance. Doors don't open if you don't push on them.
