BYC Café

Good evening Cafe.
Tea brewing on the stove if anyone fancies a cup.
Grey and damp here today. No rain as such but a heavy dew fall over night didn't quite burn off.
Just got a tree surgeon to take down a couple of trees I just can't manage. She'll be up here at the weekend weather permitting.

Nan and I will be getting a longer break than this week.
One of his sister's called and asked if they could pick him up after his next clinical trial visit, which is Monday, to have him visit for about 4 days. She then called back and asked if 2 weeks would be too much. I told her that would be fine pending Nan's test results.
I dread the repercussions of the visit. He gets noticable worse by the week and everyone will naturally blame me because of the lousy care I give him and because, and I quote, "I'm never home".
Ugh! Dementia patients are always worse outside of their own environment. Is this the sis that loads him up on the sugar too? Maybe two weeks is too long. Tough call.

Into the bone?? He's lucky you didn't sock him in the nose :th

I'm betting it was a close call. :lau

Wind finally stopped just as I was ready to come home. Chilled a bit so needed a caffeine boost. Brewed a fresh pot. Have at it in good spirit.

Chickie buns enjoying the last of the sunshine. 60+° today!
