Our internet service was out most of the day and I slept a lot. Didn't get much done. But the wind took the tin roof off of a brooder! Luckily they are old enough to do without heat until I got it back on.

I read in several pages and then realized I was in a different era.

I got chickens in April of this year and they have consumed my entire year.

Great to meet such a bunch of good eggs! Ha!

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
Snow is on the ground. Just an inch or so. It's 20F outside.
Yesterday the high was 35F and the wind was howling. I got those run tarps up just in the nick of time! Today will be the first day that the flock will stay locked in the run.
