Today is the 2 minute warning, hail Mary effort to get as much done on dad's house before the appraisal tomorrow. All my obligations there won't be quite finished but I'll be very close.
If I can clear enough space here, I want to remove everything that is left there that needs to go by this weekend and be able to just walk away until the Closing and it's finally over.

Wow, DL, after working so long and hard on that house, getting it off your "to do" list is going to be such a relief!

Trump is no Nero! Nero wanted to physically remodel the city of Rome. Trump wants to be king.

While Nero took advantage of the destruction in a totally self-centered way, historians have found no evidence that he had anything to do with the fire. Trump, on the other hand, not only started the fire, he fanned the flames. What he's been doing is no less than treason, but I'm not sure he'd be judged fit to stand trial. Can you believe he thinks he's going to run for re-election again - and win? Clearly, the man is delusional. What's really sad, is that he has persuaded so many to embrace his delusions.

Good evening Cafe.
There's a pot of tea (did the stronger stuff this evening) on the stove for those who want a cup.
It didn't freeze here as badly as predicted last night. Amd, it didn't snow today either.
Now they're forcasting 60mph winds for the weekend. With a bit of luck they'll be wrong about that to.
