On a more positive note, today I discovered that someone nearby keeps some splendid looking double-laced Barnevelders. I plan to find her and see if I can get some hatching eggs next time one of mine goes broody

I still have rats cannot seem to get handle on it

The rats in my barn got wise to the traps so I had to resort to Ramik.

It's anti fungal as well as antiseptic.

My eyes just went from blue to green!! I've been trying to find the same breed hatching eggs to pop under my next broody too! Lucky you.

Nope. House flipper so I've done a fair amount of electrical work. Ask away.

I was right about the electric problem. And that it wouldn't take my electrician long to find it.

See the charred spot under the right terminal screw? Right next to the jumper tab? The jumper tab that burned open?
When I replaced this old receptacle and hooked the 2 hot wires back on the new one, this is where the 2 circuits were slamming into each other.
For some wild and crazy reason someone pulled a cable into that box from circuit 17. The rest of the room is on circuit 24.
The electrician wanted $30. I gave him $40 and told him to go to Gigi's, lunch is on me.
