I understand what you are saying. :hugsThere are times in life where the responsibility and all that goes with it would be just too much.
Exactly! Thank You.

Today would have been Rascals 15th birthday.
Here he is at 5yo....always keeping a good eye on things.

Yes. I had called the office and asked to have a message left for the vet that last saw her for the bloodwork. He basically just let me talk myself to that conclusion and said he completely agreed. It still sucks. I hate this part of pet ownership.
It is, perhaps, our greatest responsibility.
Good afternoon everyone!

Yes, it definitely is the worst part but still, we are lucky to be able to stop their suffering when all hope is gone. :hugs

@LaFleche has expressed my feelings.

It does. Part of the reason I don't want another dog.

We made it a year and a half without a dog. Princess actually missed having a dog more than me. Daughter stepped up and said, "You guys need a dog. If anything happens to you, I'll take care of the dog." We now have Miss Maggie Mae. She has completely restructured my day. She fluctuates between being an absolute delight and a royal PITA. All in all she makes us laugh. @aart Maggie has the long straight poodle legs that Rascal had. She also has the poodle intelligence, attitude and energy level. She is WORK, but we are so glad that we got her.

A perfect wrestler's treat
This made me chuckle, as it seems as if almost everything - even the dragonfruit - is rated with regard to wrestling. I can't help the feeling that you yourself would (have) like(d) - deep down in your heart - to participate in wrestling.

Do your other sons wrestle also?

I like watching Sumo, feels very relaxing

That's good. I hate watching for decline for things you have little control over. I'm keeping my eye on my last WLH. It's unlikely she'll last the year.

Speaking of watching decline, I've made the appointment for Mogwai. I can't take it anymore. She goes in Thursday night to be euthanized.
She came up asking to eat this morning so I gave her a tiny meal to get her started. She took two licks of it and walked away. She's back down to 4.8 pounds. I've been cleaning poop and pee out of the tub and off the floor in the mud room. It's too much.
:hugsRip
Oh, but I do wrestle! Logs, sheep, hay bales, horses, sons, shovels, feed bags... It is where they got their natural sports ability! :lau
:celebrate
