Got all the snow cleaned up in prep for the thaw.
Not looking forward to what it might mean for the chooks and coop tho.
Will be good to clean up all the poopsicles clinging to many surfaces,
and the pile of ice below the water nipples.
But wonder what days in the 30's and nights in the 20's might do to combs.

Colonoscopy tomorrow. First time. I'm not looking forward to the prep

I did one several years ago. I have trouble with blood sugar crashes, and that was my biggest worry. I got around that with lemon Jello Knox blox. The yellow color was ok, and the extra gelatin was more protein to keep me from crashing.

Petroleum jelly helped keep the raw tissues less irritated.

It is sunny with spits of snow and breeze. Same old stuff. High of 40 on Tuesday!
Thanks for the coffee and pancakes! DH is going to TX for 10 days and do some hog hunting with his buddy, so that will be nice for everyone! LOL!

I dread our long mud season

Luckily here on my place mud is not an issue, tho drainage can be a real issue and cause flooding in garage. Run can flood too and just get rather mucky with all the snow melt and drainage from higher ground(only place for it to go).
I am wishing I had dried and stashed some wood chips before everything froze up.
I do have some leaves stashed (if I can free up the ice on the shed doors) wonder if they went moldy tho.
OhWell, it'll happen and we'll deal with it.
Sure is nice to see the SUN for now!!
