You have such pretty flock Tonya; what breed are the two in the middle in the first photo? I just love their plumage.

Those are referred to as mutts! They are Fabio's daughter's. I'm not sure who their mothers are.
I call them the bookends. They are nearly identical with the exception that one has slightly darker lacing on her hackles and one had a single comb, Morgan, the other a pea, Mallory. Wren, my little lone hatcher from the egg Astrid crushed, looks to be a full sister to one of them.

I was excited about the warm weather and bright sunshine yesterday. I awoke to more snow on the ground.

Got a coating here, it's slush, and the eaves are still dripping at just above freezing.

It's a thaw.....whether it will be the last of the season remains to be seen.

An inch of heavy wet snow here. Lots of dripping on the roof now. Some fog on the fields during our morning walk looked eerie and magical at the same time.
