Started off lovely and sunny. By 1500 pissing down with rain.
Everything is growing like crazy!

They ae forecasting up to 6 & 1/2" of rain from tomorrow night and Sun morn. Things are still wet in the shade.
We'll be thankful come August I guess.

It's a frosty 27F out. It will be sunny and 60 for the high today. I couldn't get Nan to shift her schedule so I'll miss it.

No, I'll grousing about the heat

Most years we are weeks away from all grass burning up, hay prices climbing and impossible to find with triple digits and 89% humidity, or getting our second hay cutting and more grass going into the winter. Oddly even with wet winter and spring like last year.

Rain chances tonight/tomorrow, and windy. Gusts up to 40 mph. That ought to take care of the last of the snow.

I see more brown grass than snow out there. The deer just blend in.

Good morning, cafe. Thanks for the coffee, DL. Sorry you don't get to enjoy the nice day.

A whopping 8°f (-13°c) this morning! Brrski. Had 6" of snow when I got up yesterday morning, but quite a bit melted off. I was happy to see dry roads when I headed home. Headed for 50's this weekend and another storm next week. And the time change...ugh.

But it was pretty yesterday:
