I've never gotten past 130K

I never owned anything that started with less other than a motorcycle. My last truck was 130k when new to me. Most are 180k when new. But a new diesel is NOT cheap.

Good morning all and thanks for the coffee. Got about 2 & 1/2" of rain last night. The ground was wet enough that it's standing water in a lot of the yard and the west pasture. It's only an acre, but most of it when the rain stopped. It's going down now.
I built a hole last year to pull the water to a low spot and dug it out a couple of times last week when the said how much rain we might get.

When I was young, we used comment that St. Petersburg Florida was full of old farts, usually driving big, heavy, Cadillacs.

Were you there in Englewood that day ? He was driving a big, heavy, dented Cadillac.

But a new diesel is NOT cheap.

That is FOR SURE. Even the cheapest gas F150 is $30K.

anybody have thoughts about the Jeep Cherokee Altitude?

Yes. My thought would be that I do not like these cut off new forms, I liked the older square ones much better, as they would have more space and higher cargo bay to load properly.

They were typically too short to see over the dashboard.

I knew someone who lived in FL and called those people "frog heads," because they looked like frogs with their head partly under water and just big eyes -- or, sunglasses -- above.

Only accidents in my life I was hit not the hitter ... as a kid We had a big old cadilac Dad loved them.. All five of us in the car going home. VW bug crossed into our lane head on. Daddy bent the stearing wheel .. Ma came close to biting through her thumb. Remember the seat catches in back one went into my half sisters shin .. Brother and I where pretty okay .. VW guy had broken left leg .. That big old caddy killed him

I like the lines of the new one better. The old one looks too much like a hearse to me.
