I lost track of the splinters. One more under a nail. I really hate those. And one that drew blood and naughty words from my mouth.
I also installed all but one piece of baseboard in the mudroom, two 8' pieces in the living room, 2 headers, caulked 2 doorways and washed and hung two loads of clothes.
My back is sore and I feel GREAT!
SOOOO happy to be working on our house! :wee
Looks great as your work always does

That's beautiful, Tonya! (And Bella is so cute all curled up :love ) That's great you can focus on your own stuff now. How satisfying.

Morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
I had made an appointment for Fuji for her routine exam tomorrow night. I don't think she'll be coming home. I think it's time.

She is having a hard time eating and I've had her on a boiled chicken, rice, egg diet for about a week. She is having a hard time getting even that down.

Over the years when I clean her teeth I noticed that her gums seemed strange. They seem like they are getting larger and hang down over her teeth. She fights like a demon when I clean her teeth so it's VERY hard to do them. And she can't have anesthesia because of her crappy heart. But I think that gum condition may be mast cell tumors too.

And despite me giving her Kaolin Pectin twice a day, her stool is soft and mucousy.
I'll bring a sample in tomorrow night and have them look at it but the main "end game" condition with mast cell cancer is vomiting and diarrhea. She just seems miserable.

Good afternoon everyone!

And thank you for the coffee @DobieLover :caf

The new flooring looks great, just right up my alley! But nasty splinters under fingernails I can really do without. 😫

I am sorry that despite all of your loving care Fuji is getting worse. Although it might be very hard to let her go (as she was your fathers dog), I do believe in not letting them suffer when there is no hope of improvement and I know that this is what you think too. She is very lucky to have you take care of the situation and let her go peacefully. :hugs

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee DL, Sour. Chance of rain today then strong chance of storms this evening. Went and picked up a load of firewood yesterday to beat the rain. Both tires on the trailer were flat and ended up putting some tire sealant in both of them before the day was over.

Fuji is my foster failure. I still have dad's dog, Skittles.
I know it's hard to keep up with all my critters and all the crap that keeps dumping down on me.
I can't bear the thought of her suffering.
