Windows are closed and heat is on - damp is outside.

Same here @sourland ...tho left bedroom window cracked all night.

Got coat and gloves on to do chores and immediately took them off, warm out there!

Morning and extra coffee brewing! It snowed about 6 inches of fluffy stuff last night.
I think it is in the 20's out there but I haven't looked for real. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night to have a quick family gathering for DS$'s birthday this week. I haven't been there in years but I will say with this whole Vid thing, there are no wait times or crowds mid-week and no being pushed out the door to make room. I would have to think that the to-go option is what is keeping things afloat for sure. Next week, DS$ is flying to IA for the Folkstyle Nationals and staying to help coach his Coach, who is wrestling in the older gents division.
DS@ also goes full-time back into the Hotshot Crew to get ready for fire season next week so it was nice to have some time to catch up on things.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We've got a fire in the stove. The house cooled off over night and I'm going to get the chill off it and burn a low fire for the rainy cooler day in store.

I get my first jab today.
The State opened up eligibility to 50+. I kept working the on-line system and kept scheduling the closest date that worked for me then went back in hoping to snap up an even earlier cancelation. You had to be quick because if you didn't click that button fast, you'd lose the earlier appointment.
Now I'll be fully vaccinated by the time DH and I go on vacation in May.

I'm literally sitting in the holding pen where you go after the shot to make sure you don't have a reaction. I got it at 1:21!

One of the monitors walked up and asked if I was feeling okay. I told her I'd fall on the floor to make it easier to spot me if I started to feel bad.
