Are your coop and run done?
 no I have a coop and run for the birds I have, but need to enlarge both for the chicks.

I plan to paint the "inside" side of the wood we bought this week. Then it's ready to be cut up.

I can't add on to the run until we move the coop and run into its summer place, which will probably be end of May...? The coop is built on a trailer, so the run has to be dismantled into pieces, coop moved, pieces of run moved, and run reassembled. We definitely want to do the coop addition while the coop is up by the house.

The summer location has better possibilities for run enlargement, to see what works. I also want to add a chunnel to a chicken moat by part of the garden down there.

The winter location is our side yard, which is more level, but I need to leave access to the propane tank and wood pile. So I want to see what works as far as the run addition goes, and keep in mind that in the winter, it might be a different configuration.

I told hubby that I want tutoring in the use of his tools and to be able to build stuff myself. He's ok with that!:)

You should plan your coop expansion to fit the winter space. ;)

Frosty(literally) out there this morning.

I thought it was pretty cool to watch too! I did a great prep I might add!! I even watched him snip off the polyps.

They gave me a little something for pain management and a light sedation, Twilight sedation. All it did was make me a little blurry eyed when it kicked in. I've had it before when I had to have my gall bladder duct scoped before having it removed. They fed the camera down my throat and went up the duct from my stomach.
I'm glad it's over with. Even though the second dose of prep made me barf it was still hands down easier to do than that horror show I went through last month.
I had twilight sedation when a cyst was removed from my foot. It knocked me out completely!
