Yesterday got hotter than predicted. My face was red when I came in to wash up after unloading the first load of wood chips around the garden beds. I had grand plans to get another larger load after the temps dropped but by then I was done for.
My little Tonk (Sebright) aka "The Screamer" is full on broody now and got her self a complimentary ticket to the well appointed top floor crate in the run. She had lots to say about that and none of it's nice!
It's really hard to get frustrated about a bantam getting broody. They are just so darn cute about it!I think I'll release her 2 hours early tonight so she has to be removed from the nest again and I can record her reaction!
