With near 100° temps today.

Uugh! That's horrible!

We got some rain yesterday evening. Now the humidity is 96% and it's foggy. Rain possibilities for the next few days too. We need it so badly, I am not complaining. DH is doing enough of that for both of us. He hates the heat.

So next week, what is he doing? Going to NC, of course! He's going to visit his dad, and his brother will be there at the same time. Dad's house has A/C, so they can hang out and be cool. It'll be a nice get away for him, I hope. Stepmom is a great cook.

I hate the heat too....and the humidity....they just do me in.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee!
We did 2 loads of hay yesterday in 90 degrees and have the last one this AM.
We had come home after stuffing the first one in the barn and my neighbor comes over to see if I can drop a tree for them for their satellite service reception while the guy is there installing it... okay... not much of a lunch break but hey, the tree is on the ground to be cut up later and they gave me some cash to take my DH out to dinner...
The satellite guy must be from the city, I don't think he has seen too many grey-haired ladies running saws and dropping trees, therefore I must be an alien!

When they get home with the new saw have them demonstrate how it is used. Keep telling them you need just one more lesson until they have cut all the limbs you want gone.
