Oh how cool can that be you will get to see baby turtles then maybe ?
I've never once been successful seeing the turtle eggs hatch. They must do it in the middle of the night.

This is such a dumb question, but where did the mud come from? Was the ground wet? Is that some kind of fertile turtle juice? :idunno
The ground is heavy clay. It had rained the night before. It didn't take much for her to churn that mud up.

I finally got the mulch spread, the tarp put away, the trailer moved back and the grass cut where the trailer was parked in the lawn and in the chicken pen and then I ended up mowing the whole lawn...I just did it Thursday!
Everything looks nice and neat and I find these two girls rearranging the mulch! As if I asked. For crying out loud!!

Don't rail against the turtles! What greater appreciation can be shown to your gardening skills than seeing it fit to carry their offspring?

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee LF.
It's 66 this morning and that's as high as it's supposed to get today! Going down to 45 tonight. Today would have been a perfect day to work outside but it's back to the grind for me.
Have a great day everyone!
