Hello everyone, today is near the closing here in Germany. It's a hard working day anyway. But before all kinds of work start, around 6am, after picking some roses from the garden, I did enjoy 30 minutes reading in my favorite coffee corner, which is facing our pond.

As DH says, "It's poaring here now." That's when it's raining so hard, you need a rowboat and oars.

I believe the drought will be over by this time next week. Rain every day for the next 8. I hope it washes the gypsy moth caterpillars out of the trees.

The heat wave is supposed to be a big deal for the western united states with new records set and temps 20 degrees or more above normal.

I am very happy to have the new heat pump installed!
