I gotcha!!
I finally recorded Annie crowing.

She does it in the first 3 seconds of the video then just walks to the end of the poop board closest to the nest boxes and does NORMAL hen pre-egg laying clucking.
The audio doesn't match up with the video though. Very annoying. But you can see her crow then hear it.

It was very quiet around here last evening and some friends and I went for a horseback ride to enjoy the weather after the rains rolled through.

It sounds more crow-like in real life. Plus there's usually not so much damn noise going on in the background! The first time I heard her I thought that was one weird crow but it's a crow for sure.

I like the color. I don't like the noise.

A kid in my high school class blew the pinkie finger off one of his hands making a bottle rocket in 10th grade. A person I knew won the "who can hold the firework the longest" bet.

SMH.

A neighbor was shot in the foot last night. There was a post on Nextdoor asking for information on who was shooting guns last night.

I just got a call from the guy with the three Border Collies that I sometimes run into at the fields while running my dogs. He told me that he put Luna, their blue merle puppy, out on the line last night after the fireworks were done so she could pee one last time before bed. He heard her bark briefly then quiet down. He went out to get her and someone had cut the rope she was tied out on and took her!!!!
They've posted that she was stolen to FB, CL and another forum. I don't know if she was chipped but the company would launch an email to the area if she was. Needless to say, he feels horrible and responsible for it but mostly, he just wants his dog back.

She's home!!
The son found her coming out of the woods at the end of their dead end road dragging the cut rope.
