Our power went out last night around 8. It came back on about 9:15. But only half the house. The power company came out within an hour to check on why.

It's not on their end. It's in the house. Waiting for 8 am to call an electrician. Canceling my chiro appointment and everything else I do on that trip.

Of course, it's the part of the house that has the fridge, freezer, stove, and water heater. We do have running water, thank goodness!

Thinking of calling the guy on the Power Home Solar ads...

Outside of setting an infertile egg once and the Mommy Dearest debacle of last summer, I've had 100% hatch rates. Having my luck, they'd all hatch and be cockerels.

DH did last night. Consumers Energy came out and checked the outside box and there's power to it, so it's on our end.

I'm waiting for 8:00 to start calling electricians.

This is the first place I'd go.
If it's all on one leg, the connection on that terminal lug may be bad. It's still something for the electrician to fix as the incoming power would need to be turned off.
