Those cockerels gotta go,
they are getting really cocky all of a sudden
(yeah, yeah.....that's how it often happens).
Decided to simplify my slaughtering process, to almost eliminate the dreaded cleanup tasks and much of the set up too.
Gonna use CD to kill, then skin enough to filet breasts and harvest thighs, legs, upper wings. The rest of the carcasses will go to the woodland creatures.
Will kill 3 and keep 1, for now.
I actually had to use this technique on my first slaughter, a cockerel that I was going to skin and preserve the hackles and saddles until I realized he was covered in lice<shudder>.
Luckily during my copious research I had learned about it.
