Which is normal for your area!
Yep!

We also did not get much rain and the little bit of snow pack in the sierras was absorbed by the thirsty ground so did not fill the lakes as much as expected....which was not much!

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We are getting rain for the next 5 days. Yesterday was the first day without rain for 4 days. It was my only chance to mow the lawn.
I again have mud tracks all over the back yard and nearly got stuck and did get splattered with mud. If there were a way to send the coming rain out west where it is needed, I'd be happy to do so.

Thanks for the coffee!

My integration plans have been pushed back to Sunday, but for a good reason: we might be adopting a dog Friday night. We'll go visit her after DH gets home from work.

We got about 3/8" of rain last night. Not enough, but I'll take it. I hope we get more.

The third estimate for taking down the trees is supposed to happen today. I don't think they'll beat the second estimate, but who knows. The second one was $2K less than the "revised" first estimate. I really like the guy who came out, too. He was very knowledgeable and upfront about everything, and got us the estimate the next day.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! We are having a lot of fun with the visiting granddaughters! So is the kitten... he has decided that being carried around and squeaked at is not so bad. :lau
I think hiking along the creek and rock scrambling is on the list of activities for today.
We may top that off with firewood splitting just to make it real.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!
