no---he bent at the waist too much before scar tissue had a chance to strengthen hip. He doesn't follow dr orders well--can't just sit around and heal
Did the ball come out of the socket....or were the bone implant parts damaged?
My sister had to do a ton of PT to build those muscles back up before she could do much.
It's hard to be patient and do all the Pain and Torture to heal well and have a successful joint replacement.

This afternoon, I sealed the seams on the new run roof with silicone. It's the first time I've ever used a caulking gun, and my technique definitely got better as I went along.

We're supposed to get some possibly heavy rain tomorrow, so I was in a bit of a sweat to get it done today.

He split a bunch of wood last Saturday, then grumbled about the rain on Sunday, because he couldn't get more done.
Been doing that here as well. Have my sister from So. Cal on a working vacation ;)
Cut up the big parts of a downed tree yesterday, splitting them tomorrow. FD55CC50-75E0-47B5-8959-FAE3BE2BE3F3_1_105_c.jpeg 984791A6-C4A5-4B2A-A201-DB233062F547_1_105_c.jpeg

Smaller parts already cut and split (the stuff in the pile, not the stuff in the racks)
DD2 helped with this part.

Gave sister a day off today, we went to Mount Washington. Below the cloud layer on the way up, above it on top! But it was over 60°F at the top and no wind. You would think we were in some alternate universe as Mt. Washington can have some of the worst weather in the world. Unfortunately I forgot my real camera so these are cell phone pictures.

This sign was erected some time back, apparently an unmanned station in Australia clocked over 250 MPH a decade or so ago.

Apparently on a really clear day one can see all the way to the Atlantic Ocean to the East and the Adirondack mountains in New York to the west.

Took the Kancamagus Highway on the way home.

Horrible! I would consider this medical malpratice and an insurance case.
You sure you aren't an American (USA type)? ;)

I saw a video where they used painters tap to control the caulk line. After they caulked, they removed the tape

"Sit around and heal?" I don't think that's in the 'Man' manual.
I believe you are correct, sir.
to help dispatch an old sheep that is not going to make it through the winter any way one looks at
I wondered the same thing as @aart. Will she go in the freezer?

When they found the guy that clocked this wind speed, how far from the top of the mountain did he get blown??

I've been up in that region when I did the RTB race in 2008. It's positively stunning!!
