It certainly wasn’t fun weather. We fixed the roof on the main portion of the coop with some plywood and tar paper. Then did some work to the back - made the door more sturdy with extra buttons and fixed a few holes. Removed some soft panels and replaced with more plywood.
Here it is - just have to cover the section of roof over the run, give it a repaint, and get some leaf litter/mulch in the run so it’s not quite as wet.

It’s nothing fancy, and certainly not level (nothing is in Cape Breton

), but it does it job well. The inside portion is quite large and has a loft for nesting. It also covers half the run to give some shelter for those wet days. They’ll free range out the side door in nice weather.
