Good morning Cafe! It's just below freezing here, but the day will warm up well enough. We're starting the floor of our coop! Here's a couple pics of the site--the chain link kennel panels will start the run. The last pic is because I'm happy we have so much wood cut for the next few winters.

Perhaps. We are very much alike; although, she is probably more type A and ambitious than I am.

I wish I could claim we did all that work on the firewood. We paid to have all 130 logs cut up into stove length chunks, planning to split it ourselves. Then the firehouse next door, which has been sitting empty for several years, suddenly has a new crew--like a hot shot team that works in forestry here in Arizona. It's not a regular fire station, just sort of a place to work on equipment.

Well, these guys were bored one day, and came over, asked if they could split wood. Yeah, I'm gonna say no to that! So for several days, a few of them would come over, split wood, and the pile grew. I baked cookies for them, but essentially they're young guys enjoying the exercise. You should have seen their competitions!
