After days of grey and even darker grey skies, we are having a wonderful and bright cold day, perfect to get some more yardwork done.

Just read about the devastation this terrible tornado caused in Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois.

I hope you all are well and stay well!

Near 60 this morning....now the wind machine is roaring and the temps are going to plummet over the next couple hours into the mid 30's....
....and the power is blipping.
Crap, gonna be a long 12 hours(that's when the wind advisory ends).

Another project I really didn't have time for but did anyway.
I have 3 window boxes on the front of the house. DH and I foraged 6 different types of evergreens and I also found red berries to add. I don't know what shrub they came off of but it had lots of thorns I can tell you that.
I made the bows from the same wire ribbon I used on the tree.

Good Afternoon! I brewed a fresh pot of coffee for those who are in need of another cup.

I had a wonderful morning trip the local creamery - they just came out today with a new cheese in the traditional local style (which is very hard to find these days). Just waiting for the wind and the rain to hit.

There was frost on the neighbors roof this morning and then we get a storm tomorrow.

It warms up when it rains so we will not see snow.

We have webbed feet now .. Fine ladies foot wear is rubber boots.
