I just got my power back on! Thank you for your thoughts. It is snowing and it is very cold. I have cooked a few meals on the wood stove and made some chi tea and perc coffee. Our power was out since yesterday morning, right after I last posted, and I had no idea that the flatlands were burning down until late yesterday evening when I talked to a neighbor and got the news.
It was a surreal feeling for sure, listing to him and watching my trees bend in the snow storm. I can't see the Denver area from where I am. Land lines! Gotta love them!
