No wonder senior citizens most often move to snowless regions like Florida or similar. They obviously take this advice to heart.
I was thinking this morning, maybe I should move to one of those places.
Snow is just not much fun when you can't go out and play in it,
even less fun when clearing it about does you in.

Got the path cleared and feed is moved, snow id tapering off.
I've still got a good 3-4 days of work to get everything cleaned up.

Well then you are clearly middle age! Given my Dad's father lived to a couple of weeks shy of 96 I am in the early stages of old age ;) Dad turned 93 in October.

Is that at all normal in the area?

OK, just make sure you get your priorities straight and put shoveling AFTER posting pictures here ;)
Yep, pretty normal. We get just below freezing in temperature some nights. It rarely snows here. What we get lots of is grey and damp with a wind chill that makes if feel a few degrees colder.

Eewwww, I rather endure cold, but very dry temperatures. Just hate the dampness creeping up my old bones. 😬

Yes, I can relate only too well.

But think again: I doubt you will be able to stand and even less enjoy it teeming with all these senior citizens ... all these 3- and 4 wheel walkers you would have to be squeezing and weaving through all the time...

EDIT to add this: :p

Oh, I doubt I'd ever move from here....but it does cross my mind.
Warm(er) doesn't necessarily mean populous. ;)
As much as I've come to hate cold and snow, I hate heat even more.

Finally! A couple pictures :D
