He still feels bad but is a little better.
He's had IV antibiotic & simbadol for pain and we gave him 100 mls Iactated ringers subQ before we left. They sent him home with two more bags of fluids and I'm supposed to give him 200 mls subQ every 8-12 hours. My (nurse) sister said she'd help. He'll have to have subQ fluids until he can keep himself hydrated.
The bloody diarrhea keeps leaking out of him so he is on a puppy pad over a folded up towel.
The vet thinks he'll start feeling better late tomorrow or the next day.

The diagnosis is Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. It's cause is idiopathic.Did they have any idea what's the matter? Glad you've got him home and he's a little better.
