BYC Café

Good afternoon Café!
I brought a freshly brewed pot for all in need, help yourselves to it!

Any news on @Mtn Margie yet ?

Hi LF, thanks for the fresh coffee!

I haven't seen Margie for a couple weeks now, hope all is ok.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee NFC.

I've been feeling horrible about a fisher cat I hit on the way home from shopping two days ago. It was about 1/2 mile away and I saw it scamper down a bank then up through the ditch and run right in front of the car. I hit the brakes but didn't stand on them because I didn't want Bella going through the windshield. I felt us hit it and run over the body. When we got out of the car to unload I could smell the blood and the dogs were going nuts running around the car sniffing at the tires and under carriage.
That fisher cat was huge and gorgeous.
I hit a small deer last year. I didn't even see it until it jumped into the road. Accidents happen.

I got a good look at him this morning. I'd say at least 2.5-3' long, 10-12 pounds.
This is the third time I've seen one.
The first time was when we lived in Binghamton and we saw a mother and two kits run across the road.
The second time was about a year after we moved here. Again, a mother and 3 kits running through the woods behind our house.
I had relatives in Binghamton! My grandfather. Walter Bartleson, my aunt and uncle and about 6 cousins.

What does one put in a kitchen to make it look less bare? I could do plants on the window sill I guess.
Just pile up all the stuff you are going to deal with "later", trust me it doesn't look bare.

Then again, if you don't like DW's style of "decorating" I know a guy who makes some really nice wood lamps and sculptures. Maybe you could put a few of those out.
