We had lots of rain yesterday, switched over to a severe thunder storm at night with very strong winds. Power blipped on and off for about 10 minutes during dinner (that was fun) and we ended up in a brown out. Most of the LED bulbs barely lit and the one in the freezer was strobing.

Finn (a full brother to Ollie) will soon be joining our family

It was scheduled to get him next weekend (at 8 weeks of age), but the breeder's sister called Sunday evening to let us now they just caught covid, so we have to postpone it for at least two weeks and get him at 10 weeks of age, to give them enough time to recover without time pressure.

Freya and I went up to the green house today. I gathered about a cup of small weeds, pulled from the large tubs where the lettuce and spinach are trying to grow.

Fresh weeds for the chickens!
