Sorry to hear that, DL. If I were close enough to help, I'd be there, being all the help I could be! You'd have to tell me and show me what to do, though. I'm more of a "pair of hands" kind of help on a lot of building things.

Well, when "beaming" (ala Star Trek) is a thing, we can organize work parties wherever anyone needs assistance.

Found a strange thing in the coop this morning, right inside the exterior door.
Partially eviscerated mouse, there was another farther away from door that I stepped on.

I was going to run into the big city today, glad I postponed for the rain today as the drains are just barely keeping up.

That's weird. I've seen cannibalized mice in a trap but never just laying around like that.

I am back from the driving run. DH is now getting new tires on the truck so it is his turn for a trip to town. Cold, foggy , damp, not snowing atm. Glad that you are feeling a bit better, Shad! Thanks for the warm-up on the coffee, LF!

I have to get new tires soon. One has a slow leak and the tread is getting thin on them.

I swear that they are not that old! but I did buy them a couple of years before the pandemic so they are older than I remember.
