BYC Café

Good evening Cafe. I thought a pot of tea might go down well so I've brough a fresh brew.
I haz plants!:D
I went into Bristol with my eldest and managed to come back with three plants, a Cheese plant and two different types of Begonia. Now I've got to find attractive pots to put them in.

Everybody I know is sick, recovering from being sick, worn out because they were sick with this or that for months.
Lots of people are sick but don't know what virus/bug they've got because testing is no longer funded by the government. If you don't test, you don't report a case to the National data base. This will mean that the figures for the numbers of people with particular viruses will become very distorted.
You can buy tests if you can find them. A lateral flow test was £2.00 for one.
Test every day, some people have to, and that's £14.00 a week. While it's not a lot of money, it's enough to put off buying a test for the poorest.

It is similar here. The good thing is that Hospitals are not filling up yet with this wave.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I'm waiting for Safelite to come out to fix those two chips in my windshield. I've been driving around with them for months but I know they can sometimes spread across the windshield and I'd hate to see that happen on the trip down to DE.

Tink has steadily marched herself into psycho broody status and was sentenced to 3 days in the mental ward. She was raving mad this morning, that's for sure.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. Another rainy day here.
Here too. It rained pretty much all day yesterday so I pressure washed the back of the house, deck, deck furniture and cushions, mudroom addition and all of the stairs, risers and skirts.

It's one of the most instantly gratifying tasks one can do. You can blast away 5 years of grime and algae/lichen growth with one pass of the wand. I went through almost 2 tanks of gas and will do the rest of the house and west side of the garage today.

From henceforth I will pressure wash the house and garage every spring like I used to do with my first house.

I haz plants!
Let us see what you got!
