We get 34 miles to the gallon so not too horrible
Relative to some other vehicles ;)

I haven't owned anything that got less than 45 MPG in the coldest part of winter with snow tires since 2004. 55 summer. Now even that is a very poor tank of gas seen only on long trips with 70 MPH roads with my Prius Prime.

Of course the Leaf DW drives gets infinite gas MPG since it is all electric. Her 70 mile round trip commute costs $2.60 in the summer closer to $3.90 in the winter.

Spent all my day cleaning. Laundry, dishes, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, etc. We have company coming tomorrow (thus the cleaning), so Mother's Day, I'll be doing what I want to do: puttering in the garden. Oh, and I'll take the wind block panels/plastic down off the run too.

Grey and some drizzle/sprinkles of rain today. It'll be dry for about a week after today. And warm/hot.

I'm kind of looking forward to summer-like weather...

Better go back and get it because someone else is sure to see how gorgeous it is!

I don't know, I've never killed an animal (well there are those woodchucks and the raccoon that killed my chickens) but plants? They best look out!

Given the increase in Covid cases and deaths I'm not sure that is a good idea.

FIL in the skilled nursing facility tested positive Monday. DW, DD1 and her BF were with him Sunday. They were masked as required so hopefully safe. MIL just called, she now tests positive. She goes to see him at least twice daily and also masks though they do sometimes eat dinner together. All are vaxxed and boosted so hopefully unlikely to get hospitalized but FIL is 97 with Parkinson's, MIL is 89, DW has been on immune suppressing drugs for over 20 years. Plenty to be concerned about.
Yup it's a big mistake to beleive Covid is anything like over.
