Never had either GH or raccoon to eat. They don't sound very appealing, that's for sure!

Went to the ophthalmologist today. I haven't had my eyes checked in about 4 years, and the past several times, it was just at the eye glasses place. I figured it was time to have a "real" doctor look at my eyes. They also checked my prescription, and it isn't correct. When I got these glasses, I went back a few days later and said I didn't think they were right. They re-measured, said, yup, those are the right prescription. Guess I won't go back there, ever again.

I think it's also time to get regular bifocals, not progressives, too. I'm 60, so lines go with the territory.

Old folks can have progressives. gives you more options for focus by tilting your head.

Ok, quick poll: Which have you had, progressives, or bifocals, or both? Did you prefer one over the other?

I probably won't be getting new glasses until we're back from Maine. Sure won't be going to Lens Crafters, either.
