We got a nice bit of rain yesterday. Now the sun is coming out, but the northerly wind is blowing the humidity away!

Snowbird was chasing the girls this morning. I don't know if he caught any, and it didn't look or sound violent. Progress for the big man. And he IS big; probably 8-9 pounds. His legs are chonkers!

Tink's little boys are now as big as she is and they are only 6 weeks old! One of them crowed again this morning. Too cute!
I was disappointed in her though. Her getting in the nest box with the kids at night is not because she can't find a spot on the roost with them. The little dinkus is getting broody again! She hasn't even kicked the boys to the curb yet AND she's molting!! I tossed them all in the ward last night. Those boys are going to be on their own pretty quick if mom ends up in the clink tonight. Maybe I'll let them roost on her crate. Maybe them crapping on her head will help break her...
