They're both in their early 70s, and not going to get up on the roof, most likely. I'm thinking openings in the sides covered with hardware cloth under the eaves might work.

I've got another tree down. This time on the fence. I'm SO sick of these trees falling all over my property.

But there are plenty to fall on the coop or run. I really need to find someone to help me get them down.

I'll need ibuprofen to get going today. And it's going to be hotter today so I am going to get up there as soon as the dew is off the roof and run the dogs tonight instead. I have not let Bella know my plans.

Where I used to work, the Thursday/Friday leading up to the weekend were usually slow. The Wednesday after, however, was absolutely slammed.

I used to take the week before Memorial Day and Labor Day off for gardening/canning. When the newbies groused, I said, "I planned it that way, as opposed to taking the week after. You're welcome."

Thanks for the coffee! I am heading off into the forest with a friend and her firewood cutting permit to cut her firewood for the season. At least I don't have to touch the slash
because that is what she does for her part. Enjoy the day!
