We had a cast iron dragon that sat on the wood stove boiling water to increase humidity. But it got lost in a move

My steamer is conventional cast iron pot with lid that looks like pine cones & needles to let the steam out. It is very rusty and needs to be restored.

I love that backsplash. It's crackle glass. Same stuff I used in the kitchen. Same cabinets and granite too.

It's REALLY hard to show how he color shifts but he'll faintly shimmer from blue to violet.

Like his predecessor he sleeps on the hearth in front of the wood stove.

Love your dragon! I have not made a monster or dragon in quite a while! Have to put that on my agenda.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We got about 2.5" of snow. Just enough to make getting the garbage down to the curb a PITA.

UHG....here comes Winter!
I no longer love the snow, due to my sharply decreasing ability to clear it efficiently.
Gonna go get stocked up on stuff the next 2 days.

Thanks for the coffee! We are supposed to get an inch or less every 12 hours from today till Wed. night. Cold temps and breezes with it.
