Not really Penny. I've been saving up for a trip on the Orient Express which is something I've had in mind as a treat when I've become to tired to do the less refined adventures.
Great trip plan do it while still able enjoy, enjoy.

Good for Bella!

DH told me a story about our first Dobe, Shadow. DH was visiting his dad and had Shadow with him. Dad (actually, dad's wife) had a small yap dog named Sapphire, aka Saphie. Saphie kept yapping at Shadow. Saphie was probably 1/8 Shadow's size. yap yap yap yap yap yap yap......

Finally, Shadow had enough. She turned to Saphie, bared her teeth, and said, "Rowf!"

Saphie ran off. She was back in half an hour, staying farther away. yap...yap...yap...

Wish I could have seen that.
And this reminds me of yet another story about Amber!
One day I went to visit my parents after they had bred her Brittany spaniel b!tch and kept one of the pups, Rocky. Rocky was about 5 months old and still intact and very exuberant.
Amber and I were sitting out in the living room and Rocky came flopping/running into the room, jumped up towards me but landed on Amber's back and slid down. Well let me tell you, you never saw a dog spin around so fast with slobber flying from her jaws and snapping on either side of that boy's face with the most horrific growl coming out of her. Again, she never touched him. He ran yipping out of the living room into the kitchen where my parents were.
The next thing I heard from my mom was, "OMG! He's pissing himself!!"
Amber literally scared the piss out of him. I took Amber and exited stage left.
She's the dog that got me hooked on the breed! 😁

And to think her previous owner didn't want her anymore just because she couldn't have puppies from her. What a moron!
Of course, just like any other livestock operation. When you can't get something more from the animal, get rid of it. Feeding a non productive animal costs money.

Puppy mill breeder maybe?

doing something with the kitchen floor which while mostly functional is pink anti slip flooring.
:sick

The coldest high temp in the next week's forecast is 33 degrees. The doesn't bode well for snow for DH to cross country ski on. That means grumpy hubby.
:barnie
Similar here with regard to snow shoeing. We are getting some snow today. But it rained a bunch last night. In the middle of January. This is not right!

Be wary if you happen to see Hercule Poirot on the train!
