Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

It's a muddy mess out in my yard with huge puddles all over. It's going to rain all day today and switch over to snow then freeze tomorrow. I went to look up the river level rise forecast and it's no longer available at the gauge I monitor. Just historic levels and current. That doesn't really help anyone in the flood zones. One needs to know if enough rain is coming down to hit the action/flood stages.

Snowing here....enough to lighten everything up, but won't last long.

It's snowing very lightly now. Very pretty. Not enough to ski on for DH, but the weather pattern is supposed to change in the next week or so.

The pantry project is done! I will start moving dry goods into it today. Lots of trips up and down stairs, as they're in the basement now. Good exercise.

DH would love to have enough to plow. The Falcon plow is like a toy for him.

Thank goodness for this puppy.
Bella hasn't been out to run in 3 days (because I had to work) and now it's pissing down rain.
The two of them manage to tire each other out farting around in the house.
I did add a little stress tiring to the mix by grinding nails and scaling teeth. Piper just gets the unplugged Dremel touched to her nail tips. She's currently terrified of the thing. But she was very interested in watching big sister and brother get their nails done. Piper still has her newborn puppy soft "white at the tips" nails. I nipped the tips off twice so far with cat nail clippers and she's dealing well with that.

I have rocks from every vacation I've been on and lots that I collected from the creek bed where I hike the dogs. They will all eventually end up in and around the pond.

I have always loved rocks! Since i retired, i decided to dig and go creeking for more rocks .

Sorry, byc was having a glitch. Striped quartz and white quartz. Not sure what the black stripes consist of.
