Got down to 8 degrees here, but it's mid-teens now. The wind makes it pretty frigid out, still. We're going to lose our snow next week. Sorry, DH.

I got two eggs yesterday. One from Stormy (I'm pretty sure) who has been laying for a while. And one from....? I think I know, but there's no way to tell for sure. 5/6 hens have plump red combs and wattles, so it could be any of them.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. 12F and no wind here - not too bad.
It's warmed up to -2. It's taking forever to get warm! The sun is out now so I'm hoping it will speed things up. Bella is getting impatient.

One of the old hens didn't go out this morning, she ws moving pretty darn slow.
Hope she makes it.
Guess I should have given some EL after all.
I've given them every morning for the last 4 days. So far everyone is doing well.
How old is she?

I only give EL every few days if the cold snap is going to last.
This one was only going to last for 36 hours.
She's ~6yo, hatched here 2017.

Bella is doing surprisingly well learning the silly tricks. She likes the clicker and it really seems to help her grasp what I'm trying to teach her. I'm not very good at hitting the mark yet but we're practicing and she's getting it. She LOVES to get it right because I made such a big huge deal of it.

Piper learns lots just from watching Bella. Her puppy class starts Tuesday.
