There is another trick I've added to Bella's list to master.

Those brazen landscape destroying deer actually came all the way up into the path I shoveled for potty patrol! I looked out the kitchen window and one was standing about 6' from the bottom of the deck stairs.
I slowly slid the glass door open wide enough for Bella to fit through then whispered her new command "Clear the Deer". Her not knowing what this meant just yet trotted out onto the deck, spotted the interloper and shot into action. A big, black, barking, snarling, SPEEDING dervish went straight for the closest deer. It and it's partners in crime all leapt cleanly out of range across the lawn, over the moat and into the woods. They actually had the NERVE not to flag their tails!!!
Bella being the great gal she is, again slammed on the breaks at the edge of the yard, spun around and ran back to lavish praise! She was quite proud of herself... from the amount of deer poop in my yard, she has much work to do.
