The dogs did NOT give me a present I wanted. I was forced from bed at 4:45. They had me wide awake and fighting it at 4:30. After 15 minutes, I surrendered. The struggle is REAL. (puppies... )

Same here. But just now, almost sunny. 50s forecast for mid-week.

I'm ready to make planting pots for seed starting. I helped a neighbor sort garden seeds for a neighborhood seed swap in Grand Rapids, and that's all I needed to get the itch. Then we get snow.

Filling pots with potting soil is waaay too dusty to do anywhere but outside. It's homemade potting soil, so it's been drying all winter. I wear a mask when I mix it. I knew that Covid mask would come in handy sometime!

Single digits again up here. No breeze so there is still some snow up in the trees.
We are helping a neighbor with bringing in firewood and and then delivering some firewood today so I hope it gets tolerable out there soon.

My veggie/herbs and flowers starts are doing very well. It's so nice to see some green around.

Looks like a LOT of plants! Do you have a greenhouse? Seems like it is a bit early to put them out unless your climate is a lot warmer than ours. No leafy greens outside until end of May here.
