Maybe add sand or gravel. Or possibly french drains.Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day. Today it will be rainy and warm. My yard will stay swampy until June...
Yesterday i collected rocks in the rain, while waiting for buyers to appear and buy my critters.Good morning! Thanks for the hot coffee!
It is 18F and "just a lil breezy" out there.
Not feeling too sore from the start on the chainsawing for the season. Hour and a half maybe. Got a tractor bucket ride up to about head high to take off limbs that would make the tree twist in an unpredictable way before I dropped it.
Today we shall see what fun may yet appear. Kinda done with the wind, but it is just cranking up at 60 supposed to get to 75ish in a day or so. I was supposed to go snowshoeing with some friends, but a multi-day wind event will probably impact that. LOL!
Go dance in the rain and have fun!
Most of our daffodil blooms have died off already. It has been pretty dry here. Photo from earlier this year.Dh is out scouting for "volunteer" firewood that came down in the wind the last couple days. Right now, it's sunny, chilly, breezy. Sunny, I'll take it; the rest can just come along, because I can't do anything about it.
I bet by this time tomorrow, I'll have a daffodil in bloom.![]()
There is only about a foot or so of topsoil sitting on hardpan clay. It just doesn't want to drain that fast when we get as much rain as we did and the ground isn't fully thawed. It's like this every spring.Maybe add sand or gravel. Or possibly french drains.
Dig some deep holes and fill with gravel so i can drain? There is only about a foot or so of topsoil sitting on hardpan clay. It just doesn't want to drain that fast when we get as much rain as we did and the ground isn't fully thawed. It's like this every spring.
