We have had nothing but severe rain and thunderstorms for weeks after the summer drought.
And while it is all very nice for nature and refilling water reservoirs, we would love to not get soaked to the skin when running the dogs or biking.

Guess it might depends on what kind of system you have, mines' an old fashioned concrete tank and drain field.

I bet since ours is original to the house build, it's the same. Our house was built in '79.

The guy pumping didn't say how much solids was in the bottom. He had a stirrer thingie, and from the way it moved, I would guess that the majority was liquid.

I had another guy come up this afternoon. I had seen his work on a house I drive by every day and got his contact info from that home owner.

This new guy is going to do it NEXT WEEK for $600!! AND he is going to drop all the big poplars along the wood line that I'm nervous about falling in my yard or on my coop or run. AND (this is the really good part...) he is SERIOUSLY easy on the eye!

He's a super nice guy and we chatted for at least an hour. Turns out we were both working at Sanmina (aka - San Quentin) at the same time. Both started in early 2013. He made it 9 months. I made it 2 years and 4 months.
