a damaged oak and about 8 dead ash.

Ash is fantastic for firewood. Oak is good too. We have a lot of oak out here.

A neighbor has taken down some standing dead ash... I drool and have lust in my heart for that awesome, HUGE pile of firewood he has in his side yard...

Speaking of procrastination......I really should go get chook chow today, but there's enough for another day or two and I really don't feel like going out.

All you need for a good cup of the wake up stuff is already set for you to brew and enjoy on the patio seeing how it's 65, cloudy and breezy right now. I think I'm pretty far away from the coast so I didn't get any rain from that storm but am getting a wonderful breeze.

After this batch, I change gears and work on salsa.

Homemade salsa is the best!!!!!!
